Shenzhen Delica Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Delica) Participated in the Cerebrolvascular Research Network (CARNet) meeting in Leicester, UK during 27 th – 29th October 2022.
Delica EMS-9D Pro Robotic Probe Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound system combined with Cerebral Oximetry/Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) showed at the meeting and attracted the attention of many attendees.
The monitoring use of the TCD and NIRS combination will help identify cerebral hyperperfusion, reduce the stroke rate and enhance the outcome of the patients scheduled for surgery. Its associated research and clinical values are being recognized by more and more neurologists.
During the meeting, Delica representative fully exchanged views with the clinical research team from the University of Cambridge, UK. The University of Cambridge has maintained a long-term cooperative relationship with Delica. The ICM intensive care brain monitoring software developed by the team has been seamlessly integrated into the Delica TCD system, providing an effective diagnostic method for the collection and analysis of clinical data to medical researchers.
