The National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China recently issued the recommended health industry standard, the Equipment Deployment Standard for county-level General Hospitals (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard"). The standard aims to regulate the equipment deployment of county-level general hospitals, stipulating the basic principles of equipment deployment for county-level general hospitals of RMB 10,000 yuan and above, and proposing the items and quantities of equipment deployment according to the scale of the hospital. The standard applies to county-level general hospitals with a size of no more than 1500 beds, and the implementation time is January 1, 2024.

The standards set the minimum standards for the allocation of more than ten thousand yuan of equipment for clinical departments, medical technology departments and auxiliary departments in county-level general hospitals of different sizes. County-level general hospitals can be rationally allocated according to their size and service needs. It mainly includes ultrasonic Doppler blood flow analyzer, electroencephalogram machine, color ultrasound diagnostic instrument, portable color ultrasound diagnostic instrument, cerebral oxygen saturation monitor and other medical equipment.
